SwitchMode Power Supplies (the organisation) was first established in
1999 and expanded in 2003/2004.
SwitchMode and Switchmode Power Supplies are trade names. The name SwitchMode is generally
used.
The organisation was first established to
source and supply electronic power supplies (which are mainly switch-mode) to
clients. This business was expanded in 2003.
The organisation provides power supplies,
components and assembly services to a wide range of clients, including clients
who manufacture weighing equipment, burglar alarms, studio mixing desks, CCTV applications and
many other similar companies.
Obsolete parts, which may have to be sourced
from across the world, are also catered for.
The assembly operations take place in the UK. We have also European and China connections for high volumes. Testing of the assemblies is undertaken in accordance
with the client’s requirements during production.
The staff are highly skilled and experienced,
all having worked in the trade for many years. The company recognises the
importance of the skill of the staff in what was largely a hand operated
process.
To
ensure that all clients receive the best possible service the organisation operates a
Quality Management System (QMS) to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
